Day 1: Meet your fellow adventurers and tour leader at 6 pm at the joining hotel in Playa Del Carmen.
Day 2: Early departure on two different buses takes us over the border to Belize City, and from there a speedboat to Caye Caulker. You have arrived in Paradise.
Day 3: All day snorkelling adventure including lunch and rum punch (after the last snorkel site). What better way to experience the Caribbean, but on a boat enjoying the sunshine, warm water and sea life!
Day 4: A midday boat will see us back in Belize City, then a shorter ride on local transport through the capital of Belmopan, then on to the adventure centre of San Ignacio!
Day 5: ATM Caves – this is it! The #1 activity to do in Belize. Cross rivers, swim through caverns and see exactly what lies in a Mayan Sacrificial Chamber.
Day 6: A free day today, to enjoy the area of San Ignacio, and several more adventures. Return to hotel in time for a late afternoon departure to Flores, Guatemala.
Day 7: We start with sunrise tour of Tikal, then continue on to Rio Dulce but not before taking a short detour to Finca Paraiso to relax in a beautiful hot waterfall.
Day 8: After visiting the Castillo de San Felipe for photos of the fort and Lake Izabal, we travel down the Rio Dulce River, through its canyon, to the Caribbean Sea and Livingston. We return to our island accommodations for the night.
Day 9: An early morning departure, in our private bus takes us through a variety of landscapes to Lake Atitlan.
Day 10: A tour of Lake Atitlan taking in Santa Catarina, Santiago, San Juan and Jaibalito.
Day 11: A morning departure takes us for a two hour drive to Antigua. We spend a few hours in Antigua, including an orientation by your tour leader before departing for our final excursion together, Volcano Pacaya.
Day 12: Tour ends for those finishing in Antigua, or a free day for those continuing on to San Jose, Costa Rica!
